Biography
Lieutenant Henri Homer Lefebvre was born in Quebec, on 18 July 1880. He graduated on 12 July 1912 from Laval University (a French-speaking University).
Henri Lefebvre worked for himself as a veterinary surgeon until he enlisted in the British Army Veterinary Corps. He was commissioned as a Lieutenant on 17 June 1917.
Lieutenant Lefebrve was appointed to serve in Mesopotamia but became ill soon after arriving in Britain. He suffered from repeated attacks of gallbladder infections.
He was operated on but died at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Marylebone, London.
He is buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, England.
